In Store Return Policy

 

Used Vinyl
 
NOT REFUNDABLE OR EXCHANGABLE.
 
You are responsible for checking the condition of used vinyl before purchasing and making sure that it is satisfactory to you. Some records in our store do have scratches or surface noise and will not be returned or exchanged. We highly recommend you listen to the LP(s) you’re interested in on our listening station before buying them. You are responsible for knowing which records you have at home – if you buy a record from us that you already have we will not return or exchange it. The only exception - if a used LP skips on our turntable we will refund it within 30 days of purchase.

Refundable within 30 days with receipt if the item hasn’t been opened or damaged.
 
New vinyl special orders, pre-orders, and Record Store Day items are non-refundable in any way unless the product is defective upon opening.
 
Defective records can be exchanged for the same album within 30 days of purchase. Slight warps that do not affect play are normal and will not be exchanged. Records with a hole punch slightly off center are normal and will not be exchanged unless playback is affected. Surface noise, major warps that affect playback, skips, mislabeling, wrong disc(s) are valid reasons for an exchange. Defectiveness is purely up to our discretion
 
Items purchased between 11/23 – 12/23 have an extended return window to 1/31.
 
 

Online Return Policy

 

You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect, damaged, or defective item, etc.). Pre-orders and Record Store Day items are non-refundable unless the product is defective upon opening.
 
Defective records can be exchanged for the same album within 30 days of purchase. Slight warps that do not affect play are normal and will not be exchanged. Surface noise, major warps that affect playback, skips, mislabeling, wrong disc(s) are valid reasons for an exchange. Defectiveness is purely up to our discretion - we may ask for pictures or videos of the described error.
 
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order. Please note that if your return is not a result of our error you will be responsible for return shipping costs. Please do not send back any items until you have received a return authorization number from us.



Shipping

Records ship USPS media mail in the United States. $5 for the first record and $1 for each additional. Most merchandise items ship for free - shipping rates are listed in the item description for all merch.

All record orders are professionally packed in stiff cardboard with bubble wrap to ensure no seam splits, corner bends, or other damage in transit.
 
If one or more items in your cart is a pre-order, your order will be held until all items have arrived. If you'd like to receive in stock items before your pre-order(s) please place separate orders.
 
After your order has shipped you'll receive an email confirmation with tracking information.
