"Travelling In The U.S.A."

The album Travelling In The U.S.A., the follow up to Blues On The Ceiling, saw the Bintangs continue their sound. The album includes the three singles ‘Ridin’ On The L&N’, ‘Travelling In The U.S.A’ and ‘He Didn’t Wanna Go Home’, which all achieved success in the Dutch Single Top 100. Most songs on Travelling In The U.S.A. are written by band member Arti Kraayeveld and produced by producer Tony Vos who was responsible for quite a few recordings in the Dutch blues scene. The Bintangs are still active and performing live in Holland, and in 2016 the band is celebrating their 55th Year Anniversary, although the line-up is different from the earlier formation.
